Morsel

Break a task into steps you can actually start.

Some tasks just sit there. "Clean out the garage" isn't hard. It's that there's nothing in it you can pick up and start.

Morsel takes a task like that and hands you the first small thing to do. Then the next one.

How it works

Type in whatever you're avoiding. Morsel breaks it into 3 to 8 steps with rough time estimates. Focus mode shows one step at a time, so the other seven aren't sitting there staring at you.

If a step still feels too big, hit the button. It splits again, or offers an easier way in.

What leaves your phone

Type the task, and that line goes to Morsel's planning service. It writes the steps and sends them back, usually in a few seconds. No account, no ads.

Everything after that stays put: the steps you got, anything you rewrite, the templates, your reminders. If you have iCloud turned on, your tasks sync through your own Apple Account the way Notes does, and nowhere else.

What you need

Any iPhone on iOS 26. The breakdown does not need Apple Intelligence, so it works the same on an iPhone 11 as on the newest one.

If the service can't be reached and your iPhone does run Apple Intelligence, Morsel uses the model on the device instead. Templates, manual editing, focus mode and everything already on your list never need a network at all.

Morsel is available in 35 languages.
